Welcome to Cub Scouts
We help children build confidence, learn new skills, and make lasting friendships while enjoying a wide range of fun and adventurous activities. Our weekly meetings are full of energy and variety. In teams Cubs take on challenges, earn badges, and discover the outdoors. The programme helps young people develop independence, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in a supportive and friendly environment.
See a range of recent activities below where we have encouraged Cubs to try new things, help others in their community, grow in confidence while having fun along the way. Whether they’re lighting their first campfire, building a den with friends, or taking part in a big group challenge, Cub Scouts experience adventure while learning skills for life.

“Why is it that one careless match can start a forest fire, but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?” — Unknown
Where do the badges go on a Cub jumper?

‘I think it’s so hard for young people to get out and experience the outdoors – it can be quite an intimidating place – lots of people don’t know how to get out there. Scouting provides a safe way to explore the outdoors. They’re going to have an adventure, but they’re going to do it with people they know and trust, and they’re going to be looked after.’ Ex Chief Scout, Bear Grylls.
